In conjunction with the 37th Convocation of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, a Khatam Al-Qur'an and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held. It took place at Masjid Universiti, UBD, 6th August afternoon.

The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. Over 230 students participated in the ceremony. Also present was Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD.
